PREMIERE I AFTEN: DANISH PLAYWRITING COMING HOME

Vores aktuelle gæster fra HIT International Theatre Arts / MOVE THE NORTH knokler på daglig basis for at forbinde mennesker og scenekunst på tværs af diverse landegrænser i Tyskland, Danmark og Sverige.

I aften har de gode folk indtaget Hesten med den danske premiere på det engelsksprogede stykke VODKA TALKS, så Arbejdshestene og Chefhoppen har øvet sig på internationalsk for at ønske dem Hals und Beinbruch, pøj pøj, break a leg og toi, toi, toi.

VODKA TALKS er skrevet af den danskfødte, tyskboende forfatter Arne Nielsen. Vi har ladt os fortælle, at forfatteren ham selv dukker op til den udsolgte premiere, og vi ser frem til at skåle (i vodka) med hr. Nielsen!

Danish-born playwright and author Arne Nielsen grew up in Denmark. Now based in Hamburg, Arne has been widely acclaimed for his best-selling writing in Germany since 2003, receiving cult status for his prose, short stories, and poetry. His recent debut stage play DIE VODKAGESPRÄCHE is performing as a staged reading in renowned theatre venues such as Hamburger Kammerspiele and Berlin Renaissance Theater.

Copenhagen-based HIT International Theatre Arts has translated the original script into English and VODKA TALKS is now being fully staged for the first time in Denmark. The upcoming April performances will mark the coming home of Arne’s work to his home country, and we are delighted to welcome the author on the night of the premiere April 21, 2023 and to have a shot of vodka with him
