DANMARKSPREMIERE 27. MAJ 2025: THE THIN PLACE

Så er det i aften kl. 19.30, at vores aktuelle gæster fra HIT International Theatre Arts har dansk, skandinavisk og nordisk premiere på forestillingen THE THIN PLACE af Lucas Hnath.

De gode folks mission er at forbinde mennesker og scenekunst fra Tyskland over Danmark til Sverige, og vi skulle hilse og sige, at alle på Hesten således har øvet sig på diverse sprog for at kunne ønske dem både Hals und Beinbruch, pøj pøj, break a leg og toi, toi, toi.

THE THIN PLACE er noget så sjældent som en slags politisk spøgelseshistorie, skrevet i USA i 2019. Forestillingen opføres på originalsproget af et internationalt hold, så hvis man vil træne sit engelske, er det altså nu:

HIT International Theatre Arts is excited to introduce the work of Lucas Hnath – “One of the most adventurous American playwrights working today” (LA Times) – to Danish audiences in a “haunting … cunning new ghost story … compelling and delicious” (New York Times).

THE THIN PLACE contemplates the concept of a fragile boundary between our world and the next. A play as politically relevant as it is haunting. Because everyone who ever dies is still here, just in a different part of here … maybe …
